We pride ourselves of our 8th graders who presented an adaptation of the play ‘Romeo and Juliet’. This work’s journey involved a deep inquiry into Shakespeare’s world; his work and the sociocultural environment of the Renaissance period. Aside from the play, the products developed throughout the PBL included the scenography as well as parchments. with specific information about the Renaissance. The students learnt an important lesson about Shakespeare’s work and were able to transmit it to their relatives by producing a family quote with them. This PBL was a rewarding and successful overall experience. Thank you parents for being part of it!
