Last September ITJ High school students traveled to a sea turtles reserve and community to learn about the social and environmental aspects that affect these species.
Students collaborated with the fishermen community to patrol the beaches, they talked with scientists who conduct research to preserve the sea turtles and tasted delicious food made by the women of the community. Students saw more than 10,000 sea turtles and they realized the importance of collaborating with the people that rescue the sea turtles.
Fantastic and unforgettable ITJ experience!
