VIVA MÉXICO!

Last Tuesday, September 15th, the ITJ Middle and High school students were able to live an incredible moment with some of our national heroes: Miguel hidalgo, Doña Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez, Ignacio Allende, Ignacio Pérez and Emeterio Gonzalez.

These heroes attended our Civic Ceremony where the national anthem was sung. It was a very exciting to see Don Miguel Hidalgo arrive on his horse, holding a banner which displayed the Virgin of Guadalupe. He then encouraged us to follow him. Finally, we witnessed a performance of the great Independence call where both teachers and students were able to shout: "VIVA MÉXICO!"

Our Roots

To know where we are headed, we must know where we come from. On Monday, September 14th we celebrated our independence in a different way. We decided to honor our pre-hispanic ancestors with the presentation of a warrior dance ceremony. Air, water, earth and fire came together to remind us of who we are and why it is important to go back to our origins. No tree grows strong if its roots are weak. Let’s grow strong, let’s go back to our roots.

Kinder Mexican Fair

There is so much Mexican cultural richness to be proud of... food, places, people, family values, music, ceremonies, etc...At ITJ we live and share this pride with our students. In past days we celebrated Independence Day with a wonderful Mexican fair organized by APF. Thank you so much for such a fun day and all your work and effort.

New Grade, New Teachers, New Friends!

Starting a new school year is almost as exciting as Christmas or as celebrating your birthday. Everything is new and possibilities are endless. And what better way to start the year than with an activity to get to know our new classroom friends! While playing games and making experiments we talked about our summer, about our families and about us. With each game we felt a little bit more at home, with each experiment we realized that this was going to be a good year.

We are ready! Let the fun and the learning begin!

5th year among Súper Empresas

We are proud of being recognized for the 5th consecutive year among Súper Empresas “the place where everyone wants to work”, this recognition is the result of the effort, teamwork and dreams of every single person who collaborates at ITJ school. Thank you for making a difference, let’s go for a year full of achievements as a family!

Cositas at ITJ!

It is a tradition in our school to welcome parents of new students in a morning gathering before we officially start school. “Cositas”, a traditional and popular TV show character, visited us to spend a fun time playing and organizing activities and games which we all enjoyed very much. It was a great way to remember our childhood and get to know each other.
