We had a wonderful school year, but the time has come to say so long, and wish our 6 graders the best in Middle School. Our commencement Ceremony took place surrounded by parents, relatives, classmates, and friends of the graduates who celebrated with us the culmination of their Elementary education. Miss Jeannene, Mr. Alan Montesinos, and Miss Teté shared her thoughts and feelings with students and parents and gave them some good pieces of advice.

We also had a Change of Guard and Miss Angie thanked the outgoing Guard and gave them the awards, as she welcomed the incoming Guard. They took their responsibility with great commitment and pride. They will do a great job, congratulations!

Our students graduated from three incredible and successful Middle School years, we are extremely proud of them, they worked hard to achieve their goals and now we are happy to see them go to the next stage of their student careers. As they grew for the past three years we grew along them, we’ll miss them but we know they are going to be equally successful in High School. Congratulations 9^th Grade students!!

PBL is a very special way to teach and learn. We love students to understand by experience and to apply what they know to different situations. Taking them to higher thinking levels is our goal!

Our last academic activity, was the PBL final presentations, were parents enjoyed and learned about the planets, dinosaurs, sustainability, healthy food, handicaps, and science. Every child enjoyed sharing with their parents and visitors what they’ve been working on for the past period. We are very proud of them! Thank you teachers for teaching with such great enthusiasm.

The middle school students had a wonderful hat day, they worked along each other exploiting their communication, teamwork, crafting and dancing abilities. We had the honor of counting with a panel of experts including Idalia Ganem to judge the hats, dances and creativity. The students chose a variety of topics including Minions, Places of the World, DreamWorks and Alice in Wonderland. Their work was rewarded by the praise of the public and judges. Congratulations for this great job.

Father’s Day is a very special day for the family. We wanted them to know how much we appreciate all the efforts they make, how much we love them, and how much we need them. That is why we booked a spot in their agendas to bring them to school and have fun with their children. The After School team organized a Rally where they played, worked in teams, and reinforce the values we teach at school and home. They had a really great time!
