Sharing Knowlege

What a better way for our students to begin the year than by sharing with other students what they have learned in the past! Three of them traveled to ITJ Zona Esmeralda to inaugurate their new radio cabin! They also gave an enlightening presentation to our new TJ Radio ZE students, shared their knowledge and gave them good advice about what they have learned in TJ Radio Querétaro. We are very proud of our radio students in Querétaro and wish ZE’s new radio students a great kick-off show!
   

Entrepreneurial Minds...

For Thomas Jefferson Institute it is very important to form creative, entrepreneurial and innovative students, with a future vision but acting in their present. This is why every last Thursday of each month Middle and High school students have the space, support and opportunity to become little entrepreneurs assisted by their teachers as a guide on how to do marketing, publicity and even accounting of the products they create or commercialize. Congratulations to the students that have participated in this great project!

Nino Canún

Last week, our students traveled to ITJ Zona Esmeralda to interview Nino Canún, a great journalist. Nino is someone who represents the value and responsibility of the current communicator. Today, more than ever, we must be critics and part of the transformation that our society demands. This interview was a challenge  for our students, and it turned into a big success!  

Mind and Body

A magical place created for our children to jump, run, build, create, imagine, share and develop their autonomy, self-confidence, creativity, problem solving and communication skills. A place where PLAYING is the only rule!

Cambiar el Mundo

Imagina que tienes el poder de pedir una cosa para todo el mundo… ¿qué pedirías? Seguramente paz, salud, o que no haya más hambre o pobreza. Ahora piensa que en tus manos está cambiar el mundo de un niño. Aunque sea por un día. Piensa que puedes hacer que un niño no pase frío y tenga un juguete nuevo para compartirlo con sus amigos. Piensa que puedes hacerlo feliz por un día. Y es que de eso se trata Viste a Un Niño, de cambiar el mundo un niño a la vez, un día a la vez. Gracias a tu participación, el pasado 13 de diciembre pudimos cambiar el mundo de 400 niños de La Solana que recibieron ropa calientita para diciembre y un juguete para darles miles de sonrisas. ¡Gracias por cambiar el mundo! ¡Nos vemos el año que entra!
