Una vez más hemos tenido la visita de un gran amigo del Colegio, el Lama Lhanang Rinpoche.  Nuestros chicos ya lo reconocen, lo saludan en pasillos, se comparten trucos de magia y nuevas formas para dibujar "mandalas". Su visita siempre nos deja algo bueno, pero es quizá el hecho de saber que la felicidad es cuestión de decisión, lo que más nos movió. Decidamos entonces ser felices, compartir y contagiarnos de alegría, vale la pena intentarlo.

La magia de las fiestas está presente, dejemos que embargue nuestros corazones y disfrutemos a la familia. Nuestro festival navideño dio pie a ello, permeando en los sentimientos de nuestros pequeños que con tanto entusiasmo lo prepararon para ustedes  y el de  cada uno de quienes formamos parte de la familia Thomas Jefferson. Disfrutemos la época y magia que conlleva.

Desde siempre uno ha buscado la orientación y guía de los sabios, creemos su compañía amuleto, es entonces que se organizan travesías agotadoras en su encuentro... Pero te voy a decir un secreto, esos sabios tienen un sentido del humor muy raro y se disfrazan de niños para llenar de bendiciones nuestras vidas. Sólo hace falta hacer una pausa, detener el ritmo y escucharlos. ¡Los niños tienen tanto que decir!

December is finally here! Out came the scarves, the gloves, and the hats and with carol singing we welcomed the Winter Holidays. Soon we will have two weeks to enjoy with our families, to reflect on what we did right and wrong this year.  Two weeks to be generous with our time, with our love and with our laughter. Because whatever you believe in, the Winter Holidays are a time to give. So give a smile, a hug, a kiss. Make a wish and be grateful for all you received this year. Enjoy your friends and your family. We will be waiting for you with open arms for another year full of surprises. Have a wonderful holiday!

The Fourth TJMUN was held from the 28^th - 30 ^th of November. During these three days, more than 250 delegates from schools in Querétaro, México and Guadalajara, debated important current topics. There were nine committees whaich included UNICEF, General Assembly and the Historical Security Council amongst others. We had the honor of receiving the Deputy General Director for Disarmament in the United Nations for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as a special guest. This year Sebastian had the pleasure of being the Secretary General in which he and his Secretariat were extremely successful in providing the delegates with a realistic representation of a Model United Nations.

Have you ever found a treasure? Well, we have a secret… Very recently the biggest treasure of all was found at ITJ, and we all got a share of it! It is a treasure so great that it allowed us all to travel in space and time. It allowed us to make more new friends that we could have ever imagined. It made us realize that NOTHING is impossible as long as you believe in it.  It was the treasure of books. Books can take you anywhere you want to go. They can turn you into scientists, magicians, astronomers and chefs, all in one lifetime. This year’s Book Fair took us around the world and back in 15 days, so prepare to come treasure hunting next year!
